As per the rules of Gujarat rte rules 2012, the matter has been restructured to take action as per the notification of the education department regarding the three amendments.  The following changes are made in Rule No. 2 Public One of rte rules 2012



About Children admission in std 1 st 2023 24

 The notification of the Department of Education regarding the matter of correction has been sent from the reference letter, according to which the report has been made in all the primary schools under its jurisdiction but many parents have made representations in this regard at the office here.

RTE RULES 2012 New instructions for parents

  As it is not known, it is reiterated that the above amendment should be immediately reported in all the primary schools under its jurisdiction and also the parents should be advised that if any parent wants to give pre-primary education to his / her child, he / she should follow the notification of education department.  


How to enroll a child in pre-primary education i.e. playgroup nursery senior KG junior KG so that when the child completes pre-primary education and takes action to get admission in standard one then he has completed four years of age in the academic year 2020  If any school is to give admission without considering the above declaration and in the academic year 2023, the alumni have completed pre-primary education and passed the standard one.  

Admission in std 1 who complate 6 years

Admission will not be possible if the child is less than six years old on June 1 and the student who has to re-study primary education one year prior to this will create an atmosphere of conflict with the parents and the school as well as the office.  On June 1, a child who has not completed the sixth year of age will not normally be admitted in Std. 1 in the primary school.  Instructed

Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act , 2009 . No : GH / SH / 04 / PRE / 122019 / Single File - 21 / K : - In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) of section 38 of the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act , 2009 ( 35 of 2009 ) , the Government of Gujarat hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Rules , 2012 , namely ; 1 . ( 1 ) These rules may be called the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education ( Amendment ) Rules , 2020 . ( 2 ) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette . 2 . In the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Rules , 2012 , in rule 3 , for sub rule ( 1 ) , the following sub - rule shall be substituted , namely : " ( 1 ) Admission of pupils

 No Elementary School shall admit a child in 1st standard who has not completed 6th year of age on the 1 " June of the academic year : Provided that for the academic years 2020-2021 , 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 a child shall be eligible for admission who has completed 5th year of age on the 1st June of the respective academic year .
