On the occasion of the 90th birth anniversary of Dhirubhai Ambani, founder chairman of Reliance Industries Limited, the Reliance Foundation announced that it will provide 50,000 scholarships over the next 10 years for students pursuing higher education in India and significantly strengthen its commitment to youth..
For the academic year 2023, the Reliance Foundation will award approximately 5000 merit-cum-means undergraduate scholarships of up to ₹2 lakh and approximately one hundred merit-based postgraduate scholarships of up to ₹6,00,000, both scholarships being for the entire period of study. Applications will be accepted till 14 February 2023..

The scholarship will be awarded after a rigorous selection process including interviews by leading experts in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics and Computer Science, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable and Students studying in fields like New Energy Materials Science and Engineering and Life Sciences will be selected on the basis of merit. Students who are currently enrolled in their first year of postgraduate studies can apply.
