Airtel has increased its recharge plan prices in Haryana and Odisha. According to a report by news agency PTI, the company has increased the minimum recharge price by 57 percent here. Now for minimum recharge you have to pay Rs 155 instead of Rs 99. Apart from this, the validity of the new plan will also be 24 days instead of 28 days.
In the Rs 99 plan, 200MB data was available with talk time of Rs 99. The call rate in this plan was 2.5 paisa at the second number. As for the reason behind the tariff hike, Airtel wants to increase its Average Revenue Per User (ARPU). Airtel's ARPU in the second quarter of this financial year (FY23 Q2) was Rs 190. He wants to take it up to Rs 300.
What will you get in the Rs 155 plan?
The Rs 155 plan offers 1GB data, 300 SMS and 24 days validity with unlimited calling. It is believed that the company is going to stop all plans below Rs 155. According to reports, the company has started this plan as a trial in two circles and will soon roll it out in other circles as well.
