After the mass promotion in Std. 10, there was a problem of admission of students in Std
Mass promotions have been given in Std. 10 and 12. Due to Corona. Students will get admission in Std. 11 after Std. 10 but this year all the regular students have passed due to Mass Promotion. Due to which there was a problem getting admission in standard 11. The education department has decided to accommodate 75 students in the class of 60. So that all students can get admission.

Permission to seat 75 students in class 60
The education department has made arrangements to admit 6 lakh students in standard 11 in the state. But 8.60 lakh students have passed due to mass promotion, i.e. more than 2 lakh students were admitted. As part of its redressal, the education department has issued a circular to all district education officers allowing 75 students to sit in the class of 60. This approval will be valid for the academic year 2021-22, standard 9 and 11 as well as standard 10 and 12 in the academic year 2022-23.
Admission problem as 8.60 lakh passed
8.60 lakh students due to mass promotion. 11 or later will qualify for admission to a vocational course. For these students, Std. 11 has 5.50 lakh seats, while diploma and ITI have about 1.50 lakh seats. Thus a total of 7 lakh seats are available for admission. In this situation, 8.60 lakh will be passed, which will create an admission problem, sources said.

Due to the Corona epidemic in the state, the state government got 1276 government, 5325 grant-in-aid, 4331 self-financed, and 45 other schools.

The decision to give enough mass promotion this year
Chief Minister Rupani, after a comprehensive review and deliberation on the state of corona transition in the state, decided to give adequate mass promotion to regular students of Std-10 SSC this year. As a result of this student-friendly decision of the state government, regular students of Std-10 (SSC) got the benefit of mass promotion.
