The Government of Gujarat runs a number of social security schemes. The category of Social Security includes widow beneficiaries, disabled beneficiaries, financially weak beneficiaries etc. The Social Justice and Empowerment Department (SJED) has various sub-departments for them, such as Director, Scheduled Caste Welfare, Director, Developing Caste Welfare, Director, Social Security etc. Many welfare schemes are run by this department.

દિવ્યાંગ લગ્ન સહાય યોજના – Divyang Shadi Yojana Gujarat
પાત્રતાના માપદંડ
કન્યાની ઉંમર ૧૮ વર્ષથી ઉપર અને છોકરાની ઉંમર ૨૧ વર્ષથી વધુ હોવી જોઇએ.
આ યોજનાનો લાભ ફકત એક જ વખત (એક યુગલદીઠ) મળવાપાત્ર રહેશે.
આ યોજના હેઠળ નિચે પત્રકમાં દર્શાવેલ દિવ્યાંગતાની ટકાવારી મુજબ લાભ આપવામાં આવે છે.
આ યોજના હેઠળ લગ્ન થયાના બે વર્ષની અંદર સહાય મેળવવા અરજી કરવાની હોય છે.

Eligibility criteria : Divyang Shadi Yojana Gujarat
The girl should be above 18 years of age and the boy should be over 21 years of age.
The benefit of this scheme will be available only once (per couple).
Under this scheme benefits are given as per the percentage of disability shown in the form below.
Under this scheme, one has to apply for assistance within two years of marriage.
આ યોજના હેઠળ નીચે પત્રકમાં દર્શાવેલ દિવ્યાંગતાની ટકાવારી મુજબ લાભ આપવામાં આવે છે.

૪ ક્રોનિક ન્યુરોલોજીકલ સ્થીતિ ૫૦ ટકા કે તેથી વધુ
૫ સામાન્ય ઇજા જીવલેણ રકતસ્ત્રાવ ૫૦ ટકા કે તેથી વધુ
૬ ઓછી દ્રષ્ટી ૪૦ ટકા કે તેથી વધુ
૭ ધ્રુજારી સ્નાયુબધ્ધ કઠોરાતા ૫૦ ટકા કે તેથી વધુ
૮ બૌધ્ધિક અસમર્થતા ૫૦ ટકા કે તેથી વધુ
૯ હિમોગ્લોબિનની ઘટેલી માત્રા ૫૦ ટકા કે તેથી વધુ
૧૦ રકતપિત-સાજા થયેલા ૪૦ ટકા કે તેથી વધુ
૧૧ દીર્ધ કાલીન અનેમિયા ૫૦ ટકા કે તેથી વધુ
૧૨ એસીડના હુમલાનો ભોગ બનેલા ૪૦ ટકા કે તેથી વધુ
૧3 હલન ચલન સથેની અશકતતા ૪૦ ટકા કે તેથી વધુ
૧૪ સેરેબલપાલ્સી ૪૦ ટકા કે તેથી વધુ
૧૫ વામનતા ૪૦ ટકા કે તેથી વધુ
૧૬ માનસિક બિમાર ૫૦ ટકા કે તેથી વધુ
૧૭ બહુવિધ સ્કલેરોસિસ-શરીરની પેશીઓ કઠણ થવાની વિક્રુતિ ૪૦ ટકા કે તેથી વધુ
૧૮ ખાસ અભ્યાસ સંબધિત વિકલાંગતા ૫૦ ટકા કે તેથી વધુ
૧૯ વાણી અને ભાષાની અશકતતા ૫૦ ટકા કે તેથી વધુ
૨૦ ચેતાતંત્ર-ન્યુરોનીવિકાસલક્ષી સ્થિતિમાં ક્ષતિ ૫૦ ટકા કે તેથી વધુ
૨૧ બહેરા અંધ્ત્વ સહિત અનેક અપંગતા ૫૦ ટકા કે તેથી વધુ

Blindness : 50% or more
Genetic causes of muscular dystrophy : 50% or more
Hearing loss : 91 to 100 percent
Chronic neurological condition : 90% or more
Normal Injury Fatal Bleeding : 90% or more
Low vision : 50% or more
Shaking muscular stiffness : 50% or more
Intellectual disability : 50% or more
Decreased hemoglobin : level of 20% or more
hemorrhagic-healed : 90% or more
Long carpet and anemia : 90% or more
acid attacks : 40% or more of the victims
Disability of movement : 50% or more
Cerebral palsy : 50% or more
Dwarfism : 90% or more
Mentally ill : 50% or more
Multiple Sclerosis – Tissue Deformation of Body Tissues : 50% or more
Special studies related disability : 50% or more
Speech and language disability : 50% or more
Nervous system-neuronal developmental damage : 80% or more
Many disabilities, including deafness, : 50 percent or more

- આ યોજના હેઠળ દિવ્યાંગથી દિવ્યાંગ વ્યકિત લગ્ન કરે ત્યારે રુ.પ૦,૦૦૦/- + .પ૦,૦૦૦/- મળીને કુલ રૂ. ૧૦૦૦૦૦/- તેમજ સામાન્ય/ વ્યકિતથી દિવ્યાંગ વ્યકિત લગ્ન કરે ત્યારે રૂ. રુ.પ૦,૦૦૦/- ની સહાય ચુકવવામાં આવે છે.

Assistance rate
Under this scheme, when a disabled person marries a disabled person, Rs. 50,000 / – + .50,000 / – together total Rs. 100,000 / – as well as Rs. Assistance of Rs. 50,000 / – is paid.

Features of Divyang Bus Pass Yojana :
Gujarat ST for persons with disabilities through the Director Social Security. The bus pass scheme is run. In which this scheme has been implemented so that the disabled persons of Gujarat can easily go for further study, treatment, job, place of business or any other place. Under this scheme, disabled beneficiaries can travel free of cost in GSRTC buses within the state of Gujarat.
What Evidence of Required ?
A person with 40% or more disability benefits from this scheme.
