The cheapest mobile data in the world in India, 1GB costs less than Rs
India has the lowest price of mobile data being offered by different service providers in the world. This means that users get the cheapest mobile data in the world in India. Apart from this, the price of mobile data per 1 GB in India has come down by about 65 per cent as compared to November, 2018. Most of the telecom companies in India are offering daily data plans.
This is stated in the 2020 Worldwide Media Data Pricing Report of the UK based firm Cable.co.uk. According to the report, India has to pay only 6. 6.7 (0.09) per gigabyte user, which is the lowest among the rest of the world. The study found that apart from this, the cost of data per 1 GB in 2018 was about Rs 18.5, which has come down by about 65 per cent in two years.
More data to users in India
Users pay ડો 8 (approximately Rs. 594) for 1GB of data in the US and 4 1.4 (approximately Rs. 104) in the UK. The global cost of data is કે 5 (approximately Rs. 372) per 1 GB. "Telecom operators in India are offering more data packs than ever before, and more data on a plan that is so expensive means that 1GB of data will cost less," said Dan Hoddle, a consumer telecom analyst at study firm Cable.co.uk.
Mobile data is the most expensive here
The study analyzed 5,554 mobile data plans from 228 different countries between February 3 and February 23, 2020. The most expensive mobile data is in St. Helena Island, where the cost of 1GB of data is 52 52.5 (approximately Rs. 3897). Sri Lanka and Vietnam are also among the top 10 countries with the cheapest data. Companies in India are offering cheaper plans, but plans from Reliance Jio, Airtel and Vodafone could become more expensive in the next six months.
