GANDHINAGAR: The Gujarat government will purchase groundnut, mung, urad and soyabean at support prices under Price Support Scheme (PSS) from Labh V in 2022-23. The state government has decided to do it for 90 days from October 29-2022 in the interest of farmers.
Giving more details about this, the minister said that the state government is planning intensively to purchase crops at subsidized prices in Kharif season keeping in mind the interest of farmers. Gujkomasol has been appointed as the State Nodal Agency to assist the Central Nodal Agency for procurement at support prices in the year 2022-23. Farmers have to register from September 25 to October 24, 2022. Registration of farmers will be done from village level through VCE from e-Village Centres.
The minister added that registered farmers will be informed by SMS or telephonically respectively. Notified farmers have to be present for sale at designated buying center with fixed quantity of FAQ quality crops. Farmers who are unable to attend on the scheduled day due to circumstances from Monday to Friday will be given an opportunity to sell on Saturday. Payment to the farmers of the sold seeds will be directly credited to the farmer's account.
The support price of groundnut for the kharif year 2022-23 by the central government is Rs.5,850, groundnut Rs. 7,755, urad Rs.6,600 and soybean Rs.4,300 per quintal has been announced.
It may be mentioned here that in the year 2021-22, a total of 2,65,558 farmers had registered for purchase of groundnut at support price. Out of which a total of 49,899 farmers took the benefit. A total of 95,230 mt of groundnut worth Rs 558.53 crore was procured from the beneficiary farmers at support price. A total of 18,535 farmers were registered for purchase of tuwer at support price in kharif year 2021-22. Out of which a total of 10,288 farmers took the benefit.
A total of 20,004 mt of tuver worth 126.03 crores was procured from the beneficiary farmers at support price while a total of 3,38,777 farmers registered for the purchase of gram during rabi season in the year 2021-22 out of which a total of 2,83,043 farmers benefited. A total of 5,58,623 MT quantity of gram worth Rs.2921.60 crore was procured from the beneficiary farmers at support price.

કેન્દ્ર સરકાર દ્વારા ખરીફ વર્ષ 2022-23 માટે મગફળીનો ટેકાનો ભાવ રૂ.5,850, મગનો રૂ. 7,755, અડદનો રૂ.6,600 અને સોયાબિનનો રૂ.4,300 પ્રતિ ક્વિન્ટલ જાહેર કરવામાં આવ્યો છે.
