8મા પગાર પંચના પ્રસ્તાવથી સરકારી કર્મચારીઓમાં ખૂબ ઉત્સાહ છે. પગાર વધારાથી તેમની આર્થિક સ્થિતિ સુધરશે અને તેઓ તેમના પરિવારનું વધુ સારી રીતે ભરણપોષણ કરી શકશે.
ક્યારે ક્યારે કેટલો થયો પગાર વધારો
– 4થા પગાર પંચમાં કેન્દ્રીય કર્મચારીઓનો 27.6% પગાર વધારો થયો. જેમાં તેમનો લઘુત્તમ પગાર 750 રૂપિયા નક્કી હતું.
– 5માં પગાર પંચમાં કર્મચારીઓને મોટી ભેટ મળી અને તેમના પગારમાં 31 ટકાનો વધારો થયો. તેમનું લઘુત્તમ વેતન વધીને સીધુ 2550 રૂપિયા પ્રતિ માસ થયું.
– 6ઠ્ઠા પગાર પંચમાં ફિટમેન્ટ ફેક્ટર લાગૂ કરવામાં આવ્યું. તે વખતે તેને 1.86 ગણું રાખવામાં આવ્યું હતું. તેનાથી કર્મચારીઓને પગારમાં સૌથી મોટો હાઈક મળ્યો અને તેમના લઘુત્તમ પગારમાં 54 ટકાનો વધારો થસો. તેનાથી બેઝિક પગાર વધીને 7000 રૂપિયા થઈ ગયો.
– વર્ષ 2014માં 7મું પગાર પંચ બન્યું અને તેને વર્ષ 2016માં લાગૂ કરવામાં આવ્યું. તેમાં પણ ફિટમેન્ટ ફેક્ટરને આધાર માનવામાં આવતા 2.57 ગણો વધારો કરાયો. પરંતુ પગાર વધારો જે થયો તે 14.29 ટકા જ થયો. જો કે બેઝિક સેલરી વધીને 18000 રૂપિયા થઈ. કર્મચારીઓએ તેનો વિરોધ જતાવતા ફિટમેન્ટ વધારવા પર ભાર મૂક્યો. પરંતુ હાલ તે 2.57 ગણા પર સ્થિર છે.
શું આઠમું પગાર પંચ આવશે?
સૌથી મોટો સવાલ એ છે કે 8મું પગાર પંચ આવશે કે નહીં? જેને લઈને બે અલગ અલગ ચર્ચાઓ છે. સરકારી સૂત્રોનું માનીએ તો સરકાર હવે આગામી પે કમિશન પર વિચાર કરશે નહીં. પરંતુ એક્સપર્ટ્સનું માનવું છે કે આમ કરવું શક્ય નથી. એક સિસ્ટમ બનેલી છે. તે સિસ્ટમને અચાનક ખતમ કરી શકાય નહીં. બીજું મોટું કારણ એ છે કે 8માં પગાર પંચને આવવામાં હજુ સમય છે. આગામી પગાર પંચની ટાઈમલાઈન 1 જાન્યુઆરી 2026થી લાગૂ થઈ શકે છે. આવામાં હજુ ઘણો સમય છે.
